Educator
Coach and Consult, established in 2001, is composed of experienced
educators committed to creating schools which are intellectually
powerful and positive socially. We draw on what we have learned
from the best and worst of our experiences as teachers, principals,
and superintendents. We work well together and can help other
educators achieve success for themselves and the children
they serve by coaching them, by providing them with advice,
and providing services that range from assesing current programs
to writing grants to creating new schools.
Educator
Coach and Consult was founded by Len Lubinsky, Superintendent
of the Erving School Union #28 in Massachusetts for twenty-five
years and Executive Director of the Northeast Foundation for
Children with which he was associated for two years, and Christine
Lewis, Principal of the Swift River School in Union #28 for
four years and Assistant Principal of the Disney Magnet School
in Chicago for two years. We worked together in a school district
where the overwhelming majority of parents, teachers, and
administrators agreed that the focus was on the interests
of and success of children despite the vicissitudes of public
school finance and politics.
We
want to help others achieve the success we achieved. By coaching
other educators, providing them with advice and support, by
adding a variety of skills to our porfolio of assistance to
schools, we are doing just that.
