Coach & Consult provides school administrators
with the support they need to better manage their schools
and school districts. We do this through individual executive
coaching, analysis and recommendations for improving the work
of administrative teams, the development of grant proposals,
the creation of school programs including curricular alignment
with state guidelines.
We
work with individual superintendents, principals, and other
educators including heads of private schools and non-profit
executives. We provide reports that are the basis of action.
We work with groups to facilitate the development of plans
that may be strategic, business-oriented, or limited to a
specific issue or problem. We work with groups that seek to
create their own new school, such as a charter school.
Superintendents,
principals, even teachers can be terribly alone in their work.
That loneliness can be painful personally and have damaging
consequences for school districts, schools, and children.
Decisions may be made in response to the current crisis without
reflection, at odds with core values, and based on the advice
of those with interests other than the decision maker's success.
Educator
Coach & Consult provides executive coaching which
is focused counsel and support intended to make it possible
for difficult decisions to reflect core values. Clients are
helped to be clear about their goals and to find ways to achieve
them. A superintendent, principal or other educator who Educator
Coach & Consult coaches gets support from someone
absolutely committed to his or her success.
Our
consultation retains that absolute commitment to the executive's
goals for organizations to reflect core values, transcend
the current crisis, and be focused on the interests of the
organization as a whole from the perspective of the decision-maker.
Work
with teams on issues as diverse as curriculum alignment, strategic
or business plans, or the creation of grant programs or new
schools maintains that same commitment to the interests of
the organization as a whole from the perspective of the decision-maker.
